We really are two persons in our inner man. That explains a lot of things. Our goal is to enter into the future things of God entire and complete. God has made a way for that to be possible.

This book is dedicated towards the teaching of the four things believers must learn and master to grow in both relationship and communion with Christ. It will teach you the meanings and methods behind repentance, surrender, obedience, and trust, and by your achieving these four things in your life, you will be able to experience all the power and promises given to us by Jesus when he delivered to mankind the Kingdon of God.

We try to play it safe and secure and trust someone else's faith. Our faith should not be something that we use every once in a while. Our faith should be like our vision; we use our eyes to see every day. We have trust in what we can see. However, in 2 Corinthians 5:7, we are told that we are to "Walk by faith, and not by sight." We are told to trust in what we cannot see more than what we can see, that confounds the world’s way of thinking. Most Baptists don't even know why they are Baptists. There parents were Baptist, or it was a Baptist that led them to Christ, or they just happen to like the Baptist church where they are members. Prayer plays a foundational role in the text of this book. I submit that all of life might be considered to be prayer. In that sense also, prayer and worship are inveterate. Worship is prayer; worship is life; prayer is worship; prayer is life. We live in the daily reality of a sacred dialogue as both individuals and as the corporate body of Christ. Much of my focus in this book has corporate worship in mind. In fact, chapter 7 takes up considerable space dealing with the two ordinances of the church, both corporate in nature; yet, as individuals, we each play a role in the sacred dialogue between God and his people called worship.
